Children
of
Persia
since its establishment in
1999, has completed the following projects:
Goltappeh's
Educational Center
Goltappeh's
Chardah Maasoom's Center was established in 1996, as an educational
facility to assist the impoverished children living in several villages
in the area. Goltappeh, currently houses approximately 523 girls, aged
7-18. The Center has been operating with only minimal support and is
constantly in need of additional resources to address the health and
educational needs of the girls who reside there and their families.
In October 1999, Children of Persia, became aware of the Center and took
on a project to lend assistance to these children and families by
providing them with food, clothing, educational articles and help with
construction of facilities.
With the assistance of Children of Persia and the many charitable
contributors to Children of Persia, food, clothing and other assistance
has been provided to the Center at Goltappeh.
The following is a list of aid Children of Persia was able to provide or
direct to Goltappeh's Chardah Maasoom's Center in
Iran
:
- 2500 Kg( 5500 lbs) of Rice
- 500 Units of Cooking Oil
- 500 Kg of Sugar products
- School supplies for 536 girls which included pens, papers,
notebooks ,etc
- Clothing for Norooz, 536 outfits
- Stocking , 356 pairs
- Toothpaste and Toothbrush foe every student ( total of 536)
