​Ms. Guita Irani has been an active member of Children of Persia for the past 20 years.  Her involvement as a volunteer started in 2000 and she has since held positions of increasing responsibility.  She currently is a board member and the Chair for volunteers.

 

Community and public service is the driver for Gita’s social, professional, and personal activities.  She always seeks to get involved in the communities she lives in and have been actively involved in leadership positions in various community organizations.  She believes being engaged in civic duties is setting a good role model for next generation Iranian Americans to be effective leaders.

 

Gita is a senior IT specialist, working in public sector.  She holds a master’s degree in information technology from university of Maryland. girani@childrenofpersia.org
