Ms. Shiva Davoodpour is a seasoned engineering professional with over 30 years of experience managing multimillion-dollar projects in the Washington, DC metro area. As the Principal-in-Charge of her firm, she has successfully led numerous award-winning initiatives for institutions, such as the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM).

She has published significant work on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and is passionate about advancing sustainability in engineering, establishing high standards for electrical system design and asset management.

 

Beyond her technical expertise, Ms. Davoodpour is passionately dedicated to charitable and humanitarian efforts, focusing on initiatives that uplift vulnerable children and families. As President and co-founder of Children of Persia, a Maryland-based public charity established in 2000, she has been a steadfast advocate for the Iranian-American community. Over the past 25 years, with updated licenses from the U.S. Treasury Department, Children of Persia has raised millions of dollars to support underserved individuals and communities in Iran, providing essential medical care, education, shelter, and more.

 

Residing in Washington, DC, with her family, Ms. Davoodpour is committed to fostering a culture of giving back both locally and globally.
